As the Eighth Wonder of the World, Sigiriya fortress complex has significant archaeological importance and attracts thousands of tourists every year. It is probably the most visited tourist destination of Sri Lanka.
Kandy, the last kingdom of Sri Lanka also has many places to explore, Temple of the Scared Tooth Relic being the highlight. Apart from all above exceptional attractions tourists take few days to visit Migintale and Ritigala as well.
