Tour Plan

01

Day 1: Hanoi

  • Welcome to Hanoi! Tour guide greets and picks you up at Noi Bai Airport and transfers to Hanoi center.
  • Starting visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex (*close on Monday). Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting-place.
  • Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's House on stilts where he used to live in the past. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda.
  • Have lunch at local restaurant and check in hotel for a rest.
  • Late afternoon, continue to visit the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple & Hoan Kiem Lake.
  • Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi/Ninh Binh

  • Breakfast at a hotel. At 8:00 am. Guide picked up at the hotel for a trip to Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh.
  • Visit the historic capital of Vietnam and the famous ancient Temples of Le and The Dinh Dynasties.
  • Then we will transfer to Tam Coc for lunch around at 12:30 pm.
  • After lunch, boat trip to visit Tam Coc to see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone in Tam Coc.
  • Take 1-hr biking on quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops in Tam Coc - Bich Dong (around 5 km).
  • Visit Mua Cave, the cave brings you one of the best panoramic views of one of the nicest sceneries in Ninh Binh.
  • Drive back to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel around 18:00. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay

  • After breakfast leave Hanoi for an overnight boat trip on Halong Bay by shuttle bus.
  • The Journey there through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta, observing everyday life of Vietnamese villagers along the way.
  • Arrive in Halong City late morning and board the boat for the overnight journey into the Bay.
  • Lunch will be served en route, whilst cruising along the bay’s iconic limestone formations. Towards the end of the day set anchor for the night.
  • As the sun sets over the bay, dinner is served on board with fresh seafood, salads, and fruits.
  • Overnight in Halong Bay.

Day 4: Fly to Da Nang

  • Rise early for a lesson in Tai Chi or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast.
  • The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Cave of Surprises, full of stalagmites and stalactites.
  • From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbor and the return drive to Hanoi and the airport for your onward flight to Danang.
  • Overnight in Danang

Day 5: Da Nang

  • After having breakfast at the hotel, the tour guide will pick you up at 8:00 am and transfer you to Ba Na Hills.
  • You'll get the chance to experience a modern cable car system that provides a breathtaking bird's-eye view.
  • Along the way, you'll visit some old French villas, the suspension bridge, Nui Chua, and the Mountain Peak (at the height of 1,487m)
  • .
  • Lunch will be enjoyed with spectacular views. In the afternoon, the tour includes a visit to the famous Golden Bridge, which features two hands resembling the hand of Buddha, as well as stops at Vong Nguyet Villa to explore the wine cellar and Sakyamuni Buddha's monument.
  • Return to Da Nang in the late afternoon, around 17:00. Overnight in Danang.

Day 6: Hoi An

  • Breakfast and check out hotel. At 8:00 am. Guide pick up at your hotel.
  • Visiting Marble Mountain, Cham Museum - discovering an ancient country in central Vietnam in the 10th century.
  • The Dragon Bridge is the new symbol of Da Nang City. You will also see many other bridges in the distance, such as the Love Bridge, where lots of pad-locks were attached by young couples.
  • Next you will transfer to Son Tra Peninsula where you can observe the beauty of nature & visit Linh Ung Pagoda
  • Have lunch at local restaurant and transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town.
  • You visit some of the Merchant's houses and Chinese Assembly Halls which are tucked away in the backstreets of this fascinating historic town and will cross the Japanese Covered Bridge which is one of Hoi An's most recognizable landmarks.
  • Check in hotel. Free time to discover Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7: Fly to Saigon

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Your guide will pick you up and transfer you to Danang airport for your flight to Saigon.
  • Upon arrival in Saigon, the guide will pick you up and take you to a local restaurant for lunch. The day tour begins with a visit to The Reunification Palace, one of the city's most significant buildings.
  • Continue to The Post Office Center to admire the best examples of classical French colonial architecture in Saigon, followed by visits to Notre Dame Cathedral and the War Remnants Museum, formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes.
  • After the tour, check into the hotel and enjoy some free time for rest.
  • Overnight stay in Saigon.

Day 8: Saigon/ Cu Chi Tunnel

  • 8:00 am, pick up at hotel and then head to Cu Chi Tunnels. Arriving tunnels, a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed will be given.
  • Back to Saigon. We start this day tour by a visit to The Reunification Palace.
  • Visit War Remnants Museum (if time permit, we will have look City Hall, and Nguyen Hue Walking street and Bac Dang Riverside Park).
  • Back to the hotel and overnight in Saigon

Day 9: Saigon/ Mekong Delta

  • After breakfast at the hotel, depart to My Tho in Mekong River which is a 2-hours drive from Saigon. Upon arrival at the pier and get on a boat trip up the Mekong River stop at Thoi Son island to visit a honey bee-farm, coconut candy workshop.
  • Walk along the village to see the authentic life of the local and challenge your bargaining power at cottage handicraft shops.
  • An adventurous sampan ride in palm shading creeks will be the next experience of the riverside region.
  • Have lunch at Mekong Restop Restaurant. Then return to Saigon.
  • Free time for shopping at Ben Thanh Market.
  • Overnight in Saigon.
