Devon Falls is right found in famous Nuwara Eliya district, and you may take 6 Km west of Thalawakele, on A7 highway before you reaching fascinating Hatton. From Nuwara Eliya the waterfall located just 30 Km away.
If you are heading from the commercial capital Colombo, it’s about 135 that you have to complete and it will be found 4 hours drive and you may come through Awissawella-Hatton road.
If you are planning to get the best view of the waterfall you may head to the famous tea center Mlesna. And to reach the top of the waterfall you can simply come through 700 meters down from Dimbula-Nawalapitiya road.
Best time to Devon Falls
Devon Falls is best found in its climax during the heavy shower rainy season that records from the time of December to March. During the time the water gushing from the top of the hills and splashing into crystal dusts at once which is such a tempting sight to explore in naked eyes.
The waterfall is very much invited to discover throughout the year, yet if you make it during low raining seasons you may not see the fullest performance of the falls that creates when water rushing from heights forcefully.
