The Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation at a meeting held on Monday (Dec. 14) regarding the re-opening of the airport, reached a decision to allow only 500 tourists to arrive in Sri Lanka daily, Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation said. Accordingly, all arriving tourists will be subjected to PCR tests and referred for quarantine at the respective hotels.
