Lipton Seat is located in picturesque Haputale destination at a highest point which is found in between Haputale and Ohiya trail ways stations.
It’s reachable from Danatanne Tea plantation in 7km proximity.
How to get Lipton Seat from Ella and Haputale
Lipton’s Seat is located at Haputale which is about a one hour road drive from the famous destination Ella. If you are looking for a budget friendly tour then best recommended make it by bus or train to proceed to Haputale from Ella, and if you can make it by a private transport it would be more comfortable and convenient and you can right proceed to the Lipton Seat itself.
If you are travel by train you can get down at Haputale station and from henceforth make a bus drive to reach to the closest place and then make it by a tuk.
Best time to visit
Unless it is not so raining, Lipton Seat is a year around attraction to explore and if you can make it in sunrise or sunset you can get more from the site.

Entrance Fees
The charges that are applied to visit Lipton’s Seat premise to explore the site is very much fairer and inexpensive. It would be about 500 LKR which is in local currency and it would about a 1 USD. The gate to the site is located at the top of the mountain.
