In the local language of Sinhala, the Lotus Tower is called Nelum Kuluna. It holds the record as the 11th tallest tower in the Asian continent and 19th tallest tower of the world. There are a total eight floors in the Lotus Tower wrapped in delicately designed Lotus petals.
The ground floor has a food court, ice cream lab, digital lab museum, and a souvenir shop. The 1st floor has a 5G innovation center. The 2nd floor is the gaming area and office space. The 3rd floor is dedicated for entertainment only. There are pubs, a drinks counter, and an open-air theater.
The banquet hall is on the 4th floor. It can accommodate up to 350 people. The revolving restaurant is on the 5th floor. All the luxury suites are available on the 6th floor. Opening time
The Lotus Tower opens at 9 am and closes at 9 pm on weekdays. But on Saturday and Sunday, the tower is open from 9 am to 11 pm. The ticket counter closes an hour before closing the tower.
Entrance fee
First of all, you need to pay the entrance fee at the gate of the Lotus Tower. This ticket is valid only for the observation deck. The tickets for all foreign nationals above 10 years of age are $20. For children between 3 and 10 years of age, a ticket costs $10. Entry is free for children below 3 years of age.
